'Weekend @ Daisys' Scrapbooking Retreat Dates for 2021

Our retreats have been a great source of friendship and fun over the year, and will be held on the following weekends in our Store this year :-

February 12 - 14 Theme is 'Sunshine & Daisies'

May 14 - 16 Theme is 'Op Shop Fancy Dress Ball' 

August 13 - 15  Theme is 'Pyjama Party'

November 5 - 7  Theme is 'Christmas'

Our Cardmaking Retreats are held at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre at Currimundi with plenty of space to scrap, enjoy the nearby boardwalk and beach, and ensuited accommodation.  (Whilst the emphasis is on Cardmaking - you are more than welcome to bring your projects of choice (eg Scrapbooking/Journaling etc).  Cost is $225pp and dates for 2021 are :-

April 16 - 18 

October 15 - 17

Our Retreats have become very popular and it’s advised that you book in as soon as possible to avoid missing out. A non refundable and non transferable $25 deposit is required to secure your booking.

Scrapbooking Retreat Information

Our Weekend Retreats have been happening now for nearly as long as we've been operating (over 15 years!) and have become a highlight of our Calendar, - whilst we call them a Scrapbooking Retreat and Cardmaking Retreat - you are welcome to work on any crafts or projects you'd like! We currently hold four retreats at the shop each year - they commence at 5pm on Friday afternoon where you arrive to 'setup you creative space' for the weekend and chat, craft and enjoy through to 3pm Sunday - with all meals included from dinner Friday night to lunch Sunday as well as morning and afternoon tea and suppers!   As you can see by the photos on our Facebook page - we have fun dressing up and each retreat is themed to add a little fun and humor to the weekend!! Those requiring accomodation for the weekend stay at the Nambour Lodge motel located on Currie Street just around the corner from our store - accomodation is usually available on a twin/triple share basis or in a single room (for a little extra). The cost of the weekend is $180 (without accomodation) and is tiered as follows for those needing to stay at the motel :-

• Package A: Retreat Only (No Accommodation) $180 
• Package B: Retreat with Single Accommodation $345 
• Package C: Retreat with Twin Share Accommodation $275pp 
• Package D: Retreat with Triple Share Accommodation $240pp 

Also included in the price is the 'Daisy Box' a stash to the value of $50 (or more) to spark your creativity over the weekend.  You can use them at the retreat or take them home with you, including a scrapbooking layout with full written instrutions! On Saturday evening everyone is invited to get dressed up in the weekend's theme for dinner - when some great photos are snapped for future layouts! Over the weekend you have access to all our workshop tools, stamps, punches, ideas books, our computer/printer and sewing machines - so it's a great time to get some projects finished while enjoying the relaxed social atmosphere.

Our retreats can generally accomodate up to 24 adults and are a great way of meeting new friends and connecting with 'fellow crafters' whilst completing your own projects, bookings are essential and to secure your booking you need to pay a non refundable $25 deposit.

We will also continue to host our popular 'All-day Saturday' events, affectionately known as a 'Daisy Dayout' - cost of which is $50 and includes lunch and dinner, and a giveaway (with a portion of our takings going to assist a nominated charity) Our next Saturday will be July 17....and don't forget you can book in to our Friday night Scrapping after Dark and make it an almost 24 hour Scrapping event!!   Details of these days will be emailed and posted onto our Facebook page.
