Pecan Squares
Ingredients
- 125g butter
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups brown sguar
- icing sugar
- 1 1/4 cups SR flour
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C
- Grease a lamington pan.
- Melt together the butter, syrup and sugar.
- Bring to the boil and then remove from heat.
- Stir in sifted flour and nuts.
- Add eggs and mix well.
- Bake in moderate oven for approx 25 minutes.
- Dust with icing sugar
